Session description

Welcome to Getting to the Fourth Industrial Revolution – the first session of Course 10: Teaching for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This session’s contents include:

1. Overview of the context and major innovations of the First, Second, Third and Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) 
2. Basic introduction to selected 4IR terminologies and technologies (big data, coding, the internet of things, augmented reality, virtual reality, machine learning and artificial intelligence, and robotics) in an educational context. 

Assessment Task

You will be asked to complete a summative task at the end of the session. You have a copy of this task in your Class Notes for your reference only. Please note that you must complete the Badge Assessment Task online. No printed, scanned, emailed, or faxed copies of the task will be accepted.
