Welcome to the Advanced Course, Part 2 of Mindset Change for lecturers in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). In this session, our focus will be on Implementing a Mindset Change Culture.
By the end of the session, you will:
- have a basic understanding of project management concepts (project life cycle, project scope management, project time management)
- understand the components of an effective Mindset Culture Project Plan
- have written a draft of their own Mindset Culture Project Plan
- be ready to implement a Mindset Culture Project Implementation Plan at your institution.
As you go along, you’ll notice that some topics are longer than others, and might consist of several lessons. During each topic or lesson, you’ll see something to be done. It could be an activity, a quiz, or a reflection. For this course, you will do several practical activities. Most of these activities will be in video format, as part of the course. Some activities are called ‘Steps’ – you will see this in your Class Notes, as well as the videos. These steps are in accordance with the steps you will follow in the Project Plan Template.
Instructions and space for making notes and writing down answers are provided in your Class Notes.
We suggest that you download the Class Notes first so you can follow along during the training.
Please also download the Project Plan Template. It is printed in the Class Notes, but also available in this downloadable Word document for you to work in. You will use this to develop your project’s implementation plan.
