Mindset Change for lecturers in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR)

Welcome to Mindset Change for Lecturers in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).

This session has been designed to help lecturers consider what change is. You will learn more about changes in the world, how our brains process change and what a Change Mindset is.

By the end of the session, you will be able to:

  • explore how change surrounds us, how we respond to change and why we do so
  • describe what the Fourth Industrial Revolution is, and the impact it has on us
  • have a framework for dealing effectively with change
  • understand the relationship between our brains and change
  • understand what a Change Mindset is
  • understand the components of the Mindset Change Model

As you go along, you’ll notice that some Topics are longer than others, and might consist of a number of Lessons.

During the course of each topic or lesson, you’ll see something to be done.

It could be an activity, a quiz, or a reflection. For this course, you will do several practical activities. Most of these activities will be in video format, as part of the course. Instructions and space for making notes and writing down answers are provided in your Class Notes.

We suggest that you download the Class Notes first so you can follow along during the training.
